Yellow Birch Knot Burl with Brass Inlay and Intact Bark Edge

$335.00

THE STORY

Yellow Birch is known for its distinctive bark, which can separate into thin, papery layers. In this piece, those layers remain part of the sculpture’s exterior, preserving a surface that is often removed during conventional woodworking.

The carved interior provides a quieter contrast to the irregular bark. Brass inlay introduces a restrained metallic accent against the warm wood, while the retained exterior keeps the material’s original character visible.
