THE STORY

A Red Maple healed branch knot shaped into a low, compact dish-like vessel, with its shallow profile following the natural proportions of the original formation.

A tiny central void has been filled with red epoxy, creating a concentrated focal point within the figured maple. Fuming deepens the natural colour of the wood while bringing greater definition to the surrounding grain.
