An inverted White Ash healed branch knot that places the tree's cambial structure on the upper surface, a rare departure from my typical design language. The large natural cavity was perfect for filling with a vivid medley of orange hues, recreating a small geological formation within the knot's opening.
For further contrast, the cambium has been fumed to a dark, rich, maroon-tinted tone.
