A compact vessel formed from a healed branch knot on a Northern Red Oak. The irregular grain converges in an aesthetically pleasing shape around the central formation, filled with black epoxy, creating a dark concentrated core. Mildly fumed with only the natural tannins found in oak wood.
Finished to preserve the tactile character of the cambium exterior while giving the interior a refined surface.
